Describe the issue:
Opening/creating codespaces for Python and .NET todo templates failed. The codespace entered Recovery Mode with a devcontainer configuration error message. The specific error message is as follows:
Repro Steps:
- Open the
todo-python-mongo repository.
- Click
Code → Codespaces → Create.
- Wait for the Codespace build.
Environment:
- Template:
todo-python-mongo-aca, todo-python-mongo-terraform, todo-python-mongo, todo-python-mongo-swa-func, todo-csharp-cosmos-sql, todo-csharp-sql, todo-csharp-sql-swa-func.
- Azd version: azd version 1.24.0-beta.1-daily.5816118 (commit 3e45e714959e1ad6376dc4910630e8b1581476b1).
- OS: Codespaces.
- Branch: Staging.
Expected behavior:
Codespace is created successfully.
