To clarify some things that were not obvious to me initially, the fact that each column of the graph is 48 hours is intentional and is what is meant by "double-plotted". This type of graph is apparently used especially for free-running organisms. However each column is intended to represent a 48-hour period; this program is currently just repeating the initial 24-hour period twice, which isn't correct.

I see this on my machine too, and in all images generated by this program that I could find in a Google search, and in the sample graphs shown in this project's readme.

I submitted #17 to fix the code; the sample graphs will need to be corrected separately because I don't have the data that was used to create them initially.
