Yes that is mutliple voice showing up in the guitar pro file. It is the greyed out notes that are the in the either 2,3,4 voice. Since you just have a few of those rests in the file I think the easiest fix is to use guitar pro voice swap tool to bring everything into the same voice. You would just have to make sure to adjust swapped notes to to mostly 8th notes it seems like in this case. You already have the let ring indication so that serves similar purpose as what the longer notes in the other voice are doing. But yes, this solution requires using the guitar pro editing features. For Alphatab there is a related discussion about handling rests in multi voice although (I don't know about hiding rests) here: #2572 |

I have never seen this before on a GP file that I have uploaded. I've heard of the multiple voicing options but since I don't personally write out TAB yet.... I don't have the experience or the knowledge of how it works.
But it completely caught me off guard when I see notes and rests in the same spot where the notes are located, and thinking wait it can't have both. I believe these for whatever purpose they serve in the voice 1 or voice 2 if there is any are meant to be hidden?
What is the best way to hide them in alphaTab?
