Reproduction steps

Updates don't install.
Update available is displayed.
I can " check for updates".
However on clicking on update the application shuts down and never starts up again and when I open it again it's still on the same version.

Expected behavior

Upon shutting down, the application should reopen to the new version.

Actual behavior

Have to manually download dmg of every new point release and installing it manually.

Thanks for reporting this. I’m taking this one, updates need to be boring and reliable. I’m testing the real upgrade flow with 0.1.11 and I’ll keep this open until install → restart → new version is verified end-to-end.

Still not working. Now when I click on check updates it does show me that a new version is available and that I can download it. Once I click on download, after a few moments it will tell me the desktop app needs to be restarted and the app shuts down but it never restarts. On manually reopening the desktop app, it's still at the previous version.
