[Messages] Unable to rejoin a conversation after leaving

Bug description

If the user leaves a conversation, then sends a new message to the same conversation, the conversation does not return to their messages

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a new account
2. Verify the email of the account (This can be done in the Firebase emulator auth > three dots > edit user > toggle verified)
3. Navigate to People
4. Choose Person A to message (this can be done with the envelope icon to the far right or by clicking on the profile card and using the envelope icon in the top right corner)
5. Enter your message
6. Click send
7. Leave the conversation (three dots at the top right > Leave chat)
8. Navigate to Person A and send another message
9. Navigate away from the Messages page and the return to the Messages page
10. Observe that there are no messages

Expected behavior

The conversation that you rejoined should be present

Thanks! I believe that the discussion gets shown in /messages when you refresh the page right?
In that case, the issue is simply that the conversations are not refreshed properly in the react context.
Minor issue, but still would be good to fix.
