[Messages] Message icon does not update after user has sent a message

Bug description

After sending a message to a user the "message" icon on the people page does not update to reflect it

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a new account
2. Verify the email of the account (This can be done in the Firebase emulator auth > three dots > edit user > toggle verified)
3. Navigate to People
4. Choose someone to message (this can be done with the envelope icon to the far right or by clicking on the profile card and using the envelope icon in the top right corner)
5. Enter your message
6. Click send
7. Click back at the top left of the conversation
8. Observe the message icon

Expected behavior

Message icon should change/update to reflect the fact that a message has been sent

Doesn't it show the message bubble if you navigate to a new page in the receiver session after the message is sent?

I think I could have explained the issue better, This is not an issue with the person receiving the message, its and issue with the UI not updating, In the gif I sent a message to "Dr. Theodore" but when I clicked back in the top left of the conversation the peoples page didn't update the message icon for the person I sent the message to Dr Theodore, it only updated after I refreshed

Ah okay it doesn't render in the profile card within the grid of people. The fix is in refreshing the context hook (something like use private messages).
