We are committed to making participation in StellarForge a welcoming, respectful, collaborative, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of background, identity, experience level, or personal characteristics.
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive community include:
- treating people with respect and empathy;
- giving and receiving constructive technical feedback;
- welcoming newcomers and helping contributors learn;
- focusing criticism on ideas and implementations rather than people;
- acknowledging differing experiences and perspectives;
- sharing knowledge and project context in good faith;
- taking responsibility for mistakes and correcting them.
Unacceptable behavior includes:
- harassment, discrimination, threats, or intimidation;
- personal attacks, insults, or deliberately inflammatory conduct;
- sustained trolling or disruption of project collaboration;
- publishing another person's private information without permission;
- sexualized language, imagery, or unwanted attention;
- retaliation against people who raise conduct concerns;
- other conduct that maintainers reasonably determine is inappropriate in a professional open-source community.
This Code of Conduct applies in official StellarForge repositories, issues, pull requests, discussions, documentation spaces, meetings, and community channels, as well as when someone is officially representing the project.
Project maintainers are responsible for interpreting and enforcing this Code of Conduct. They may remove, edit, reject, or temporarily or permanently restrict contributions or participation when behavior violates these expectations.
Conduct reports should be made privately to project maintainers through an appropriate private project or organization communication channel. Do not use public issues to report sensitive conduct matters.
Maintainers will handle reports with appropriate discretion and will avoid unnecessary disclosure of reporter or affected-party information.
This policy is informed by widely adopted open-source community standards, including the Contributor Covenant. It is a concise StellarForge policy rather than a verbatim reproduction of the Contributor Covenant.
