[Bug] all my items were nuked when i died

Describe the bug

one of my friends was testing out their new mace with wind burst 3 on me. when i was killed all of my items sunk into the ground and disappeared. i found my spear in the nearby ocean tho. in the attached video you can see me die and then my items sink into the ground

To Reproduce

i have no idea, it didnt work when we retried but it went like this

1. enter combat
2. get hit by a mace with wind burst 3
3. ???
4. lose everything

Expected behavior

1. enter combat
2. get hit by a mace with wind burst 3
3. die and not have your items sink into the ground
4. respawn and regather your items
