Text Box zooming issues

Clicking on a text field does not focus it out in the view. Which creates scenarios where you can't see the text you type until you dismiss the keyboard.

Worst, sometimes it does zoom in and out but it's so random. It may do that as I type something. Clicking on the field hides the field back again. Sometimes it just won't do that at all.

I think the browser has focusing issues. The feature the dock the url field tab bar etc etc to a floating button suffers from similar issues. I've noticed sometimes it stops working. I could either not hide the tab and url.. Despite it showing the floating button.

Or sometimes it'd hide it but then not zoom the site in because elements of the tab bar remained in place. (A few times I noticed that it hid stuff, and showed a black bar with the tab button - button to view current tabs was still there). And this thing wouldn't start working again until I restart the browser.

All I can think is that the browser suffers from zooming and focusing issues.

I'll try but from my understanding it doesn't do that everywhere. But it does it on some not so modern websites or old forums in particular. For instance when I'm in github it works flawlessly.

If you thought I was talking about the browser's text boxes then no. So it's wholly dependent on the sites.

I'll look for some sites I can take some screenshots of otherwise will just take on the ones I experience the issue on.

The same issue occurs for me, too. To be more precise, there are actually two:

1. The Hide gesture: The gesture to hide the Tab Bar sometimes fails to actually hide it, yet the floating "Show" button appears (as if the bar were successfully hidden). I don’t currently have any screenshots or recordings of this—which is why I haven’t submitted a bug report myself yet, even though I’ve been experiencing it for quite some time. I’ll try to reproduce it and share a photo/video later.
2. Overlay when auto-hiding the tab bar: Sometimes, when scrolling a page with the auto-hide bar setting enabled:
   
   an overlay in the website’s background colour appears in place of the hidden bar.

What are your android versions? Stable or alpha release?

Android 15. On Nothing OS 3.2. It's a stable release.

And thanks @Flanr4 yeah that one issue is so random. It happens often but isn't reproducible. I think most often that I have experienced it is when the browser is in background for a period and I return back to it. That has been my experience at all which I can recall. I'll try repdocuing it.

Also, I got a screenshot for the zooming/focus issue. It's not about the text box at the moment but it potentially highlights or adds to the issue at core.

So I was on the discussions page. And using the welibre to type out my response. As you can see from the screenshots in WebLibre the Start Discussion button is half cut. In fact I couldn't even scroll more and was effectively unable to see the rest of the page. Whereas in chrome that's not an issue. (Also not an issue in Firefox as well or other browsers)

But here.. We can't see the page at all. In fact I think the text bar not focusing is the same thing. Since the page never expands fully, even if in some modern sites the browser actually zooms a little. But in sites where it doesn't. And also doesn't pads the bottom to compensate for the keyboard's height I'm totally left with unable to see the text box at all. So it's more a problem of that since it does zoom the page a little elsewhere.
