Request:
I need JetClient (the paid plugin) to automatically convert single-brace path parameters from imported Swagger JSON into double-brace format so that they become variables.

Details:

After I place the OpenAPI/Swagger documentation into a .json file and import it into JetClient, the generated endpoints currently look like:

/api/resource/{param}

Describe the solution you'd like

What I want is for JetClient to automatically transform that into:

/api/resource/{{param}}
so that param becomes a recognisable and reusable variable in JetClient requests.

Thank you for the feature request.

This case is a bit too specific to include in the core functionality, so I don't plan to implement it directly in JetClient. However, you can achieve the same result easily using the IDE's Replace in Files feature (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R) on the .jetclient directory.

Here’s a quick two-step guide:

1. Convert {param} to {{param}}
   Find: (?<!\{)\{(\w+)\}(?!\})
   Replace: {{$1}}
   Options: Enable Regex (.*)

2. Remove [[pathVariables]] blocks
   Find: ^\[\[pathVariables\]\]\R(?:.*\S.*\R)*\s*?\R
   Replace: (Leave empty)
   Options: Enable Regex (.*)

This gives you full control and lets you adjust imported collections quickly to your needs.
