What the tool does

← Back to README

This page used to be one long feature list. It has been replaced by a proper mechanics manual, split by system, with the actual numbers and worked examples. This page is the index.

Start here if you are new:

  1. How it works: the two halves, the side database, and the five rules every system follows
  2. The season: the 30-step calendar and what happens at each step

The systems, in the order you meet them:

Page Covers

Scouting Letter-grade bands and why you never see a number, band width and your Evaluation grade, standing beats and reports, why blue bloods cannot hoover up the gems, hunches, generational talent

Where the build stands, and what is still open: Roadmap.

The short version

If you want one paragraph before reading any of that:

Dynasty Engine owns everything a front office decides, and CFB27 owns everything that happens on the field. You scout prospects through standing beats and see them as letter-grade bands rather than ratings. You work a 35-slot board where relationships build week by week. You offer real dollars against a real annual budget, and you make promises that get graded against what actually happens next season. Recruits decide using six personality-weighted factors, and so does every other program in the league, on the same engine. In the offseason you handle draft declarations, retention, and a fully simulated transfer portal, then a development pass, then a roster cutdown that stops the game from deleting good players. Your seat is judged against a sticky program standard, and the coaching carousel around you runs on its own model.

Every number in it is a first pass. That is what the feedback is for.
