What happened?

When creating a link in a note (with the [[ shortuct), Bookmarks are in the list of suggestion.
However, once it is in the note, if you click on it, it brings you to the "Notes" Content, so you get nowhere.

What solution could be the best ?

• Remove Bookmarks from links suggestion
• Make the link in the note activates the link of the bookmark and not the link into the software.

Also, when changing the Title of the linked note, it breaks the link. Do you think it could be possible to create a dynamic link that changes automatically the text into the note if the Title of the linked note is changed ? Or at least link it with its ID and not it’s title.

Thanks for this, and for thinking through the options rather than just reporting the symptom. Both are fixed in v0.452.0.

Bookmarks: your second suggestion won. A note-link pointing at a bookmark now opens the bookmark's URL, which is what clicking a bookmark in the list already did. Leaving them out of the suggestions would have left every link you had already written still going nowhere.

Renaming: the links now follow. When you change a note's title, every [[link]] pointing at it is updated to match, and a small message tells you how many moved. Links with your own display text keep that text; the rest show the new title, which is the automatic behaviour you were after.

On linking by ID instead of title: we went with rewriting the links rather than switching to IDs, and it gets you the same result. The reason is portability. [[Some note]] is the same syntax Obsidian uses, it is what a markdown export writes, and it is what sits in a plain .md file on disk, so an internal ID would turn your notes into something only our app can read. That matters a lot to us.

While checking this we also found and fixed a few import bugs in the same area, so note-links coming from Obsidian, Evernote, Notesnook and UpNote land correctly too. Thanks again.
