Options when creating a pitch: Ping people with those roles and exclude people with those roles from the earlier mentioned set.

The bot doesn't have to ping the role, in fact the exclusion option makes it kind of needed for the bot to manually select users to ping, but at least it's not the pitch maker who have to check the roles of people to know who to ping. With this done they would only have to select the roles and the bot fetches target members according to their roles.
