Is the library still under maintenance?

Hi,

I think this is an awesome library, however I can see from the commit history that it's a bit out of date. I'd be really keen to help out and bring it up to date and allow it to support DotNetCore.

Let me know if you think this is something worth doing? I'm happy to contribute in whatever way possible.
