Ways to make BN a better hex editor

Right now we have #28 tracking better templating. Though we already support C-style structures applied to raw blobs, this could be expanded.

Additionally, #195 is needed for better hex editor support.

But there's probably a LOT of other things we could do to improve using BN as a hex-editor. List of brainstorms follows:

• Change default copy-as/paste-from behavior
• Support a different window layout settings that don't disrupt executable analysis and vice-versa (potentially Project Support #226)
• Faster startup time/dedicated mode just for hex editing that potentially defers arch plugins?
• Make UI selections scriptable the same way here is
• Binary diffing/comparison
• Better switching of paste/insert
• Control whether files are opened in tabs or new windows as a result of drag-n-drop
• Add binja to OS "open with" menu
• Group bytes by 1/2/4/8
• Display a horizontal index/offset bar in hex view #2109

Gonna mark this as an answer since for now this is merely a placeholder for the ideas and not a specific question (and we're currently using "Answered" to track whether V35 has answered to the best of its ability at this time)
