I have an internal mail relay host which then forwards to an upstream smarthost.
This relay listens on 25/tcp and 587/tcp w/ STARTTLS.
The TLS certificates bound to 587/tcp are self-signed.
In Communication>Channels>Notification Mail:
- There is no ability to specify "Do not verify TLS certificates" against the chosen port
- There is no ability to send mail via plaintext 25/tcp.
To resolve this:
- The ability for the user to override TLS certificate verification should be presented as a boolean toggle.
- The user should be able to select "None (Port 25)" in the encryption picker.
