Lab2: STEP 8 fake colors issue

I am stuck on step 8. Once my program asks "Which color, indigo taco, pink unicorn, or blue grey coffee?" and I answer with a color, I receive this message.

I believe there is a problem with either my webook or my index.js file, but I am not sure.

Any thoughts?

Hi @austinschlessinger, I had the same error, in my case the issue was the camel case in the name of the variable "fakeColor" it should be "fakecolor", thus the code for the intent in the function should be something like;

app.intent('favorite fake color', (conv, {fakecolor}) => {
// Present user with the corresponding basic card and end the conversation.
conv.close(Here's the color, new BasicCard(colorMap[fakecolor]));
});

Instead of;

app.intent('favorite fake color', (conv, {fakeColor}) => {
// Present user with the corresponding basic card and end the conversation.
conv.close(Here's the color, new BasicCard(colorMap[fakeColor]));
});

The reason why is because in my intent even the entity is called fakeColor in the intent the parameter and the value are fakecolor, see screen shoot below;

I tried various things like not using the map and creating the BasicCard directly in the intent handler method and that work, which make me think the fakeColor didn't have the right value, thus I added a consolo.log to check and effectiveli printing fakeColor was undefined (I should have done that, prinitng the variable, first).

TIP: Using firebase log is the best way to debug this kind of issues.
