is it possible to transpile queries between dialects?

for instance I have a query that is parsed with a bigquery ast, would it be possible to transpile it to snowflake syntax from the same ast somehow?

I think you could either:

1. Convert back to a string and try and parse it with the other dialect
2. Write a pass that walks over the AST doing whatever translation logic you desire
