Borg 2 and level of stability

Hi,

I'm stuck with Borg 2 because only the import-tar command version 2 stores ACL tags and timestamps, which I need to preserve.

I was wondering how safe it is to use Borg 2 in my homelab. Are we talking 'expect possibly severe corruptions to your data due to bugs' or rather 'some polishing needs to be done'?

I can definitely live with some missing polishing, not with the corruptions.

It's in beta, there is no stability and also no beta-to-beta upgrade path.

b22 will come with big changes and you will need to create new repos for it.
and it will likely be the same for the next betas after that also.
