Prevent Accidental Node Creation Check

I have currently 4 maps on 2 of the maps when I open them the check is in the box and the other 2 when I open the check is not in the box. It would be nice if when I selected the check it would stay in or out as I set it.

This not an issue as when you finish through the workflow the default is checked.
