[Bug] mouse wheel behaves unexpecedly, produces dead pop up window

Summary

I was looking at the profiles list and hit the mouse scroll wheel ( I expected to see more profiles than this)
unexpectedly, this window poped up. The entire interface froze this time. Other times the unexpected
window can be closed with the close button.

Expected and observed behavior

scroll wheel should scroll, not popup. Note that in this case there was nothing available
to scroll to - everything is already displayed.
