Bug description

After unlocking the device, the lockscreen clock sometimes remains visible on the home screen for a short moment. At the same time, pulling down the notification shade may show a blank notification area with missing notifications. When collapsing the notification shade, the lockscreen clock animation briefly appears again.

This issue already existed on crDroid 12.9 and is still present on 12.10.
Usually, locking and unlocking the device again temporarily fixes the issue, but it randomly comes back several times throughout the day.

The issue appears to be related to SystemUI/lockscreen transition rendering.

Steps to reproduce

Step 1. Lock the device normally.
Step 2. Unlock the device using fingerprint or swipe unlock.
Step 3. Observe that the lockscreen clock briefly remains on the launcher/home screen.
Step 4. Pull down the notification shade.
Step 5. Notification area may appear blank or improperly rendered.
Step 6. Collapse the notification shade again.
Step 7. The lockscreen clock briefly flashes again during the transition.

The bug is random and may require multiple lock/unlock cycles before it happens.

Solution

Possibly related to SystemUI lockscreen-to-launcher transition animation or notification shade rendering state not being properly reset after unlock.

The issue temporarily disappears after locking and unlocking the device again, until it randomly occurs later again.
