I'd like to get the __dask_exprs__ protocol out.

I don't have a strong opinion on this.
The codebase is healthy and ready to be packed up whenever.

dask/dask#12486 highlights that we should probably add to the release handbook a step "did readthedocs build?" and how to kick it if it glitched out.

It may be worth getting in

• Don't dedupe span metadata by id() (fix flaky test_collections_metadata) distributed#9316
• Don't leave Nanny stuck in closing status when worker kill times out (fix flaky test_chaos_rechunk) distributed#9317

The two PRs at the moment are 100% unsupervised Claude changes. They highlight actual bugs in the code being tested.
I'd like the time to review and polish them.

These are also close to the finishing line:

• [breaking] scatter should not unpack custom containers distributed#9298
• Return all workers from scheduler_info() by default distributed#9308
