What feature are you suggesting?

Overview:

• to allow wuhbtool to pack a custom bootsound

Smaller Details:

• Currently all other aspects of metadata are definable, such as short/long name and all images as command line parameters to wuhbtool
• I'm unsure whether there is some limitation here i'm not aware of as i dont know any of the history of wiiu homebrew
• A simple start may not need to do extensive runtime checks other than extension, instead documentation, as there is a project available for people to create them in the correct format

Why would this feature be useful?

• Allows for custom boot sounds on any homebrew packed with wut tools

I think, I can try implement this including imlementation of input file's validation, and conversion from the WAV (even more, to simplify the mechanism, make it require WAV of a specific format to be converted into .btsnd by simple header replacing with adding loop points, etc).
