Request for handling images

There are two things I would like different about RST:

1. Show a custom scaled view of the first image from the entry in the list of blog entries page, rather than having to use "Featured Image" which doesn't act like normal images; if you want to be really fancy, allow selecting which image goes there
2. In the full blog entry, show a custom scaled view of the image, and allow clicking on it to get the full image - decent resolution images are too big to put in the actual blog entry

Since the RST is a free theme, we try to balance between offering features that align with the theme's simplified objective and ensuring it remains accessible to everyone. Additionally, RST is 100% AMP compatible, which adds a layer of complexity for implementing additional features.

The improvements you suggested are quite specific and, although they are not extremely advanced, implementing these changes will require a significant investment of time to ensure they work correctly with AMP.

I apologize for my English, which is not the best yet. I am using a translator to communicate with everyone using the RST theme, so via email, with the help of screenshots, videos, or links, it will be easier to understand exactly what you want added.

Currently, I am on vacation and, after my return, I will be busy with a project that occupies a lot of my time.
