Is there any way to analyze External memory

Our team is using cached_ network_image load image, it is found that the memory used is large, So I use observatory to analyze the memory of the application. In the process of analysis, we found that external memory is large and the main object was image, but we could not find the reference path of the image through the observatory and devtool. Fyi @terrylucas can you comment on this issue with a link to the updated documentation when it is done. I suspect the user needs to track the location where the image was created but they may need the full reference path as well.

Closing as superseded by newer features: DevTools Memory screen now supports inspecting external memory, retained sizes, object retainment paths (Path to Root), and instance allocation tracing in the Diff Snapshots and Tracing panes.
