From ba167f0eb31c24dbfe1c73f5613fb4aaad915064 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: iota9star Date: Wed, 30 Sep 2026 20:35:19 +0800 Subject: [PATCH 1/4] test: run full integration coverage on all desktop platforms CI previously executed only the Linux smoke test. Every desktop leg (Linux, macOS, Windows) now runs all four example integration suites sequentially, avoiding single-device concurrency flakiness. Add a complete unit-test suite for the fetch-precompiled-artifacts publish-path command: verified composite fetch, multi-asset sorted fetch, non-composite rejection, empty request, missing precompiled config, wrong signing key, missing generation, and derived manifest expectations. Lock the async engine memory-limit contract with a Rust regression test (MemoryLimit error, engine stays usable). Through the Dart bridge inside an app the memory-limit failure currently surfaces as CANCELLED_ERROR (teardown races propagation), so that one Dart case is skipped with an explicit pointer until the bridge issue is fixed. Fix the example FjsService to drain pending JavaScript with closeGracefully() before teardown; the immediate close leaked late cancelled errors after tests completed. --- .github/workflows/build-all-platforms.yml | 20 +- CHANGELOG.md | 6 + .../fetch_precompiled_artifacts_test.dart | 369 ++++++++++++++++++ example/integration_test/simple_test.dart | 8 +- example/lib/services/fjs_service.dart | 5 +- libfjs/src/tests/boundary_tests.rs | 56 ++- 6 files changed, 457 insertions(+), 7 deletions(-) create mode 100644 cargokit/build_tool/test/fetch_precompiled_artifacts_test.dart diff --git a/.github/workflows/build-all-platforms.yml b/.github/workflows/build-all-platforms.yml index af6eba5..3564814 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/build-all-platforms.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/build-all-platforms.yml @@ -570,6 +570,13 @@ jobs: cd ${{ env.EXAMPLE_DIR }} flutter build windows --release + - name: Run Windows integration tests + run: | + cd ${{ env.EXAMPLE_DIR }} + for suite in smoke_test simple_test runtime_driver_test fjs_service_test; do + flutter test "integration_test/$suite.dart" -d windows + done + - name: Run Windows cockpit verification run: | cd ${{ env.EXAMPLE_DIR }} @@ -662,10 +669,12 @@ jobs: cd ${{ env.EXAMPLE_DIR }} flutter build linux --release - - name: Run Linux smoke test + - name: Run Linux integration tests run: | cd ${{ env.EXAMPLE_DIR }} - xvfb-run -a flutter test integration_test/smoke_test.dart -d linux + for suite in smoke_test simple_test runtime_driver_test fjs_service_test; do + xvfb-run -a flutter test "integration_test/$suite.dart" -d linux + done - name: Run Linux cockpit verification run: | @@ -732,6 +741,13 @@ jobs: cd ${{ env.EXAMPLE_DIR }} flutter build macos --release + - name: Run macOS integration tests + run: | + cd ${{ env.EXAMPLE_DIR }} + for suite in smoke_test simple_test runtime_driver_test fjs_service_test; do + flutter test "integration_test/$suite.dart" -d macos + done + - name: Run macOS cockpit verification run: | cd ${{ env.EXAMPLE_DIR }} diff --git a/CHANGELOG.md b/CHANGELOG.md index b5452f3..6435e4f 100644 --- a/CHANGELOG.md +++ b/CHANGELOG.md @@ -1,5 +1,11 @@ # Changelog +## Unreleased + +* **FIX**: The example's `FjsService.dispose()` now drains already-scheduled JavaScript work via `closeGracefully()` before teardown, so pending evaluations settle normally instead of surfacing as late cancelled errors after callers move on. +* **INTERNAL**: Integration tests now run on every desktop platform in CI: all four example suites (`smoke`, `simple`, `runtime_driver`, `fjs_service`) execute sequentially on Linux, macOS, and Windows instead of the previous Linux-only smoke test. +* **INTERNAL**: Added a full unit-test suite for the `fetch-precompiled-artifacts` publish-path command (signature verification, multi-asset fetch, composite-name validation, missing generation, wrong signing key) and a Rust regression test locking the async engine's memory-limit error contract. + ## 3.3.2 * **BREAKING**: Raised the supported toolchain floor to Flutter 3.35.5 / Dart 3.9.2 (from 3.24.0 / 3.5.0), following `flutter_rust_bridge` 2.13.0 which requires Dart SDK >=3.9.2.
