Flatpak gives org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied

Describe the bug

I get: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied every time I start the application. Then then message goes away and all seems to work fine. Not sure what functionality is missing as a result of the error.

Dbus is used for interprocess communication so it should only affect functionality which requires other programs. So it probably only affects either notifications or connecting with the xdg desktop portal. The notifications are only available for Mbin and you're on lemmy so no problem there. With the desktop portal it might affect the filesystem dialogs but probably not in a way that breaks anything. Just won't be aware of your home directory structure.

Could you check that you're still able to download images from the app. Otherwise I don't think there would be any other issues.

I can download images so no problem other than the alarming error message showing up every time Interstellar starts. From what you say, I am assuming that when Lemmy supports notifications one day there will be a problem with Interstellar. I suppose I can change the Flatpak permissions but everything works at the moment. Thanks!
