Context
This captures the 2026-04-24 organizing pass across the active grant-closeout threads. The project board is maintained, but several current work strands are not visible enough for new collaborators.
Readout
Project board 7 is active and useful, but it is drifting from current reality. Missing work strands include:
- QUERY_SPEC contract follow-through
- Zenodo deposition planning and shipped parquet coverage
- H3-tier Python and Observable dual implementation
- charismatic samples audit for site polish
- per-source sidecar pattern
Most of the comprehension debt has the same shape: there is a canonical answer, but it is not written down in one dated artifact. Existing anchors are QUERY_SPEC/query-spec.qmd and ZENODO_DEPOSITION_PLAN.md; the missing anchors are a serialization catalog, a conformance matrix, and a charismatic samples audit.
