This is our home base for everything LinuxStreamDeck — the GTK4 app that turns
an Elgato Stream Deck into a control surface on Linux, with deep OBS Studio
integration (and a virtual on-screen deck so you can use it without the hardware).

Whether you're a streamer, a Linux tinkerer or just curious, we'd love to meet you.

👋 Hi everyone, I'll kick things off!

I'm JavocSoft, the creator and maintainer of LinuxStreamDeck. I started this
project because I wanted proper Stream Deck support on Linux with real, deep OBS
integration — not just simple key macros — and it grew from there.

To answer my own questions:

• 🎛️ Device: Elgato Stream Deck Original V2 (15 keys). Most of the development
  also happens on the virtual on-screen deck, so no hardware is needed to test.
• 🐧 Setup: ⟨Pop!_OS⟩ with a GNOME / Libadwaita desktop (GTK4).
• 🎬 What I control: OBS scenes and transitions, recording/streaming, audio
  sources and filters, plus a few system actions, clocks and multi-step keys.
• 💡 What's next: I'd love to keep expanding the OBS action catalogue and hear
  which actions you actually need day to day.

This is very much a community-driven project, so please jump in: share your setups,
ask questions, and tell me what would make LinuxStreamDeck better for you.
