Pilot A of the three-register design comparison (10.01): Paul's approved Claude Design artifact (project 3dc819cf) translated from inline styles onto the /next/ rail. Warm paper surfaces, white cards with 1px borders and 16px radius, ruby CTA, dark closing band, self-hosted Poppins display face. layouts/next/landing.html renders the whole anatomy - nav, hero + month-one card, comparison table, four-step timeline, clients band, testimonial + closing CTA, compact footer - from the stub's frontmatter, so pilots B and C reuse it by changing `register:` and the copy. landing-baseof.html keeps the v2 <head> verbatim (enhanced-meta-tags emits the noindex that makes staging on the production host safe) and drops the site chrome: a register pilot renders its own nav and footer or the comparison is unfair. Claims substitutions (the artifact's originals are not in claims-canon): - H1 "$400K hire" -> "months of hiring" - hero strip: dropped "$5K-$15K / month"; starts in days / no equity, no lock-in / 4.8/5 on Clutch (linked to the profile, per canon) - comparison "Monthly cost" -> "Cost": a fraction of a full-time hire vs full salary, benefits, and equity - comparison "30 days' notice" -> "You stop. No severance, no re-hire." - step 1: "Code review first", no "free", no "five working days" - intro: "The assessment comes first" (was "the audit ... and it's free") - clients H2: "Clients stay for years, not quarters." (was "over 3 years / beyond 6") - stats: tenure derived from site.Params.foundingYear, average client relationship 5 (canon says 5, not 5+) - proof strip: 5-year average client relationship (was "most clients stay 3+ years") - every "Get a free code audit" CTA -> "Book a free consultation" - closing card: "The consultation is free. The assessment is yours either way." The Wozniak/PubNative quote, attribution and Clutch link are verbatim - it is canon's single verified testimonial. Poppins is self-hosted (latin, 400/600/700) on the fonts-caveat / fonts-space-grotesk pattern rather than linked from fonts.googleapis.com: a third-party fetch inside the screenshot runs makes the baselines network-dependent. page/site-scripts is left out of the landing baseof - its only payload is navigation.js, which binds unconditionally to the site header's .js-mobile-menu-opener and threw on every pilot page load. Gates: bin/hugo-build green; rendered page carries noindex, links the Clutch profile, and none of the eight dropped claim strings appear anywhere under the built pilots dir; bin/rake test:unit 286 runs 0 failures; bin/qtest scoped run green with new macOS baselines for next-rescue-room.
