Cannot see edits from VS Code in MATLAB

Cannot see changes in MATLAB.

I edit a SLDD in VS Code and save the changes. I open it in MATLAB, I don't see the new value. I even tried restarting MATLAB, still the old value.

If I copy the sldd file somewhere and rename it, then opening it in MATLAB shows the correct value.

There is some caching that needs to kick in or that the user should be able to trigger to see the changes.
