From 84885dc6c48d736dc7a5c5dd57ce4fcbafe852fc Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: KoSHeroff Date: Sat, 25 Jul 2026 21:35:46 +0500 Subject: [PATCH] fix: restore 1.5.0 changelog heading; publish only current version to Modrinth The 1.5.0 heading was dropped when 1.6.0 was added, merging 1.5.0's notes into 1.6.0 and leaving 1.4.1 as the next heading. Restore it, and change the release to upload only the current version's CHANGELOG section (via mc-publish 'changelog:') instead of the whole file. --- .github/workflows/release.yml | 30 +++++++++++++++++++++++------- CHANGELOG.md | 2 ++ 2 files changed, 25 insertions(+), 7 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/release.yml b/.github/workflows/release.yml index 2cfc818..100d4ea 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/release.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/release.yml @@ -44,6 +44,22 @@ jobs: echo "release=true" >> "$GITHUB_OUTPUT" fi + # Extract only the current version's section from CHANGELOG.md so each + # Modrinth version shows its own notes rather than the whole file. + - name: Extract changelog for this version + if: steps.check.outputs.release == 'true' + id: notes + run: | + { + echo "body<> "$GITHUB_OUTPUT" + - name: Set up Java if: steps.check.outputs.release == 'true' uses: actions/setup-java@v4 @@ -107,7 +123,7 @@ jobs: version-type: release loaders: fabric game-versions: '1.20.1' - changelog-file: CHANGELOG.md + changelog: ${{ steps.notes.outputs.body }} files: versions/1.20.1-fabric/build/libs/!(*-@(dev|sources|javadoc)).jar - name: Publish 1.21.1 Fabric to Modrinth @@ -122,7 +138,7 @@ jobs: version-type: release loaders: fabric game-versions: '1.21.1' - changelog-file: CHANGELOG.md + changelog: ${{ steps.notes.outputs.body }} files: versions/1.21.1-fabric/build/libs/!(*-@(dev|sources|javadoc)).jar - name: Publish 1.21.11 Fabric to Modrinth @@ -137,7 +153,7 @@ jobs: version-type: release loaders: fabric game-versions: '1.21.11' - changelog-file: CHANGELOG.md + changelog: ${{ steps.notes.outputs.body }} files: versions/1.21.11-fabric/build/libs/!(*-@(dev|sources|javadoc)).jar - name: Publish 1.21.1 NeoForge to Modrinth @@ -152,7 +168,7 @@ jobs: version-type: release loaders: neoforge game-versions: '1.21.1' - changelog-file: CHANGELOG.md + changelog: ${{ steps.notes.outputs.body }} files: versions/1.21.1-neoforge/build/libs/!(*-@(dev|sources|javadoc)).jar - name: Publish 1.21.11 NeoForge to Modrinth @@ -167,7 +183,7 @@ jobs: version-type: release loaders: neoforge game-versions: '1.21.11' - changelog-file: CHANGELOG.md + changelog: ${{ steps.notes.outputs.body }} files: versions/1.21.11-neoforge/build/libs/!(*-@(dev|sources|javadoc)).jar # Beta target (Minecraft 26).
