Can you elaborate on what you mean by set up the terminal python? Are you using virtual environments? any env managers like conda, pyenv, poetry etc?

Create the virtual environment
python -m venv venv

Activate the environment
Windows
.\venv\Scripts\activate

macOS/Linux
source venv/bin/activate

Deactivate the environment:
deactivate
