Lag in Obsidian Mobile (Android)'s file editor + Red text highlighting

A couple days ago I noticed one of my plugins was causing my typing in the file editor to lag on mobile. By a few milliseconds maybe, but enough to be noticeable and to cause me to make more typos. So I used the divide and conquer method and determined that this plugin was causing the issue 😔 Disabling SideNote does fix the lag. SideNote is up to date and I'm using obsidian version 1.12.4 (299) on a samsung running Android 13.

Another issue I've noticed on both that device and on PC (Obsidian version 1.12.4, installer 1.11.5, linux mint cinnamon 22.3) is sometimes a comment's highlighted text will turn red and switch from highlighting the whole word/phrase to the first letter of the selection. The red selection does remain connected to the comment, but the rest of the word/phrase doesn't. This has happened when I'm actively typing in the same paragraph and when I'm just looking at the note. I don't think the issue is synced across devices --- last time it happened to the word "dungeon" on my phone, but on PC the highlight looks yellow like normal.

I think this is my first time submitting a bug report so lmk if there's any more important info I should include.

Both issues may have been fixed in v1.0.6.

Mobile typing lag — The plugin was recalculating all highlight positions on every keystroke. This has been reworked, and the lag should be gone.

Highlight turning red / shrinking to one character — Fixed. A comment is now only marked as orphaned when its exact text is actually deleted, not during normal editing nearby.
