For follow-ups I have some ideas:
an additional column to show what layer types are added to the viewer. E.g. the RGB ones are a single Image layer, whereas something like Balls 3D adds a labels, points, and image layer.
an additional column (or maybe combine with above?) to show the dtype of the sample data. E.g. uint8 vs float32 etc -- also useful when using these sample images for testing. -- maybe also dims? Maybe this is all just overthinking though...
these both, will be really awesome to have (as these will give some information about images) and i'll say lets keep separate columns
At that point, it might be nice to make it its own page, where we can use a notebook with a series of (this is pseudocode in <>)
