I am afraid I haven't tried any other SAW filter. For a drop-in replacement, you would want to look for a component with the same footprint and centre frequency. Other parameters - such as bandwidth - are somewhat less important. In general, the SAW filter isn't strictly necessary, it may well work without one if simply the B and D pin of the SAW filter footprint are shortened together. But I haven't done a thorough evaluation. |

Both the recommended (AFS20A42-1575.42-T3) and possible substitute (AFS20A02-1575.42-T3) SAW from Abracon are obsolete or not currently being sold. Is there an alternative SAW that will work? Thanks!
