Last Comments not displayed: "type:comments" not worked

Hello Developers,

I am currently doing my QA website at http://quickapps.wpzweinull.ch/blog something to set up and unfortunately it does not work with the display of the recent comments in the sidebar.

As a filter at the block I have type:comments, but nothing is displayed.

Can you help me to realize this?

The type search operator filters contents matching the given type. Comments are not considered a kind of content, they are part-of some contents. So using type:comments is expected to return zero results.

We can study this feature, and add some sort of comments search feature.

That would be very good and helpful with this feature and I would be for it. This way, last comments can be displayed and maybe it stimulates the feedback in the blog even more.

Ok, then I'm waiting with excitement when you've implemented the feature.
