Frameworks

Elements is a native macOS application built using Objective-C and Swift. It also uses the following frameworks:

  • Tailwind CSS, a utility-first CSS framework for rapidly building modern websites.
  • GSAP (Business License), an industry-standard JavaScript animation library.
  • AlpineJS, a modern, lightweight JavaScript framework.
  • Slate Text Editor, a completely customisable framework for building rich text editors.
  • Slim Framework, which helps developers write simple yet powerful web applications and APIs.
  • PHPMailer framework, a popular email-sending library for PHP.
  • MultiMarkdown, a framework for converting minimally marked-up plain text.
  • Monaco Editor, an open-source code editor framework from Microsoft.
  • Sparkle, update framework for macOS applications.
  • Google Material Symbols. Elements includes a subset of these icons.
  • Tabler Icons. Elements includes the filled icons from this set.
  • Hero Icons. Elements includes the outline and filled icons from this set.
