Sublevel splitting involving other sable-based mods causing ticking crash #1536

Description

Context

it seems like there's been an issue with how the game is processing interactions between the sable mod and the streams reflowing mod. I'll report this to the author of that mod as well, but considering the nature of how the crash happened it seems like something the sable team should be aware of, hopefully it's of use!

Regarding the details of how the crash happened, i was testing out streams reflowing with the tree physics mod in order to create a little tree-boat. I thought it would be a fun idea for an early-game sable introduction for my mod pack (i wanted to ease people into the usage of sable and create aeronautics a bit earlier)

I tossed a tree in the water and everything was looking great, UNTIL I tried to break a tree that was inside the water, when the tree shifted a little bit and rolled into the water some more. I'm wondering if it was caused by the tree physics mod, since the logs show an issue with the leave collision, but since it didn't show up earlier I had to consider the possibility that it's a sublevel-splitting issue and report it.

one thing to note is that the tree is configured to be destroyed when it splits small enough, which seems to be the main cause of the crash: when a sub level split and is then destroyed, it causes a ticking crash (that's only a working theory though, I SUCK with javascript! good luck!)
