Commodore PET 8296

Thank you for the great project.
I am trying to get it to work with a Commodore PET 8296. But unfortunately, i can only get the 1st 10 and bit of the 11th character to display.
Could you please offer some guidance. I have managed to get the uf2 complied from source and tried setting the TimingsTTL.def to suit but unfortunately this had no effect.

VSync is 60HZ
HSync is 20KHZ
Both are negative active
Pixel clock is 16Mhz
Video is active high mono with no intensity.

Hi Jman,

The board will try to automatically guess the right PC video mode (MDA, CGA, EGA), resolutions etc.
You can check what mode the board is in by long-pressing the Pixel Clock button.

But there is also a "Manual TTL mode". Try long-pushing both buttons. This will allow you to cycle through modes, set the screen size, adjust borders etc.

I would start by playing with the controls first in Manual TTL mode before messing with the source code.
There could be many reasons for displaying only part of an image, including high pixel clock, wrong borders and wrong width/height.
Once you find what works and what doesn't we can dive into the details and try to get it to display correctly.

I have tied the pixel clock from 8mh-16mhz same result. tried many settings for the various options.
Current setting are being displayed as
Video Mode : CGA
Vertical sync : 60.53 Hz Polarity 45
Horizontal sync: 20 KHz Polarity 45
Pixcel Clock: 15.941 Sampling Offset 0
Horizontal Visible 640
Horizontal Back Porch 48
Vertical Visible 200
Vertical Back Porch 17
