Everyone is welcome to contribute to the Coriolis STACKIT Installer, regardless of background, identity, experience, or ability. This code applies to project issues, pull requests, reviews, and other project-hosted discussions, including participation by maintainers.
- Be respectful, considerate, and patient.
- Give constructive feedback about ideas and code, rather than attacking people.
- Respect different perspectives and experience levels.
- Accept corrections, acknowledge mistakes, and help keep discussions productive.
- Respect privacy and do not publish personal information without consent.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, sexual harassment, personal insults, doxxing, and retaliation against people who raise concerns are unacceptable.
For content on GitHub, use the reporting options in the content's menu. If Report to repository admins is available, use it to notify the project's administrators without opening a public issue. Availability depends on the repository settings and your permissions.
For violations of GitHub's policies, including harassment or threats, use GitHub's abuse reporting form. These reports go to GitHub Support, not to the project maintainers. This route is also available when a concern involves a maintainer. GitHub decides how to handle reports under its own policies.
See GitHub's reporting guidance for details. Do not publish sensitive allegations, personal information, or private evidence in an issue or pull request. The project does not currently provide a separate private channel for conduct reports.
Maintainers are responsible for applying these standards fairly and considering the context and severity of incidents brought to their attention. They may ask for a change in behavior, remove inappropriate content, lock a discussion, or restrict participation temporarily or permanently. Serious incidents may warrant immediate restrictions.
Maintainers should explain moderation decisions to the affected person when practical, limit disclosure of sensitive information to what is needed to handle the incident, and avoid handling cases in which they are personally involved. Good-faith reports must not result in retaliation.
