Every 4h left a 9h53m gap between runs on 2026-10-10 (GitHub skipped and delayed slots), past the 9h stale threshold, so hn and boards read stale for about an hour. Every 2h at :23 shrinks the gap a skip leaves; the hourly days 1-5 cron stays, since until a run after a new thread the Worker parses that thread whole per request. Check: over 72h after merge, no gap >= 8h between successful runs.
