Image:render()can be called from integration, resize, and scheduled redraw paths that do not all pass through the decoration-provider check. Gate rendering on a shared paused state, pause immediately on focus loss, and restore images on focus gain. A generation counter prevents an older scheduled focus-loss callback from overriding a rapid focus regain.Validation: the targeted focus-rendering regression passed. The full Busted suite was not run locally because
bustedis unavailable; CI is pending.
