Build and stage the native CLI through a thin PEP 517 backend so wheels built from the sdist match CI-built wheels. Add Python 3.14 wheels, verify sdist installation before publishing, and make the install test inspect the tested interpreter’s scripts directory rather than the ambient PATH.
