A local-first desktop workspace for everyday office automation. OfficeFlow gives each domain its own focused agent so employees can work with familiar files without APIs, cloud uploads, or complicated prompts.
| Agent | Local capability |
|---|---|
| Word | Turn structured text into .docx documents |
| PowerPoint | Turn a title and outline into a reviewable .pptx deck |
| Excel | Inspect workbook sheets, dimensions, and structure before changes |
| Outlook | Create reviewable .eml email drafts without sending automatically |
Files remain on the employee's computer. The first release has no external API dependency and does not upload office documents. Outlook intentionally creates a draft rather than sending email; a human must review and send it through their normal mail client.
npm install
npm startThe application is an Electron desktop app. The renderer has no direct filesystem or network access; it communicates with a small, explicit preload bridge. Outputs are selected through a native save dialog.
The current repository is a working foundation for the four agents. Production packaging should be added with a signed Windows installer, macOS app bundle, and Linux AppImage after platform-specific QA. Excel editing, Word templates, PowerPoint themes, and Outlook integration can grow behind their existing domain boundaries.
Do not open untrusted office documents in automated workflows. Review generated files before sharing them. Do not place sensitive documents in issues or pull requests. The Outlook agent never sends mail automatically. See SECURITY.md.
