I am a long-time WordPress developer that tried Bludit CMS out of curiosity. I found room for improvement in the themes and plugins offered on the Bludit website so I began experimenting with the platform, deciphering code as there is little documentation provided by the code authors.
Here are the products that have resulted from said work, written over the course of two years. Most were developed to be used together, with the Configure 8 theme framework, but they can be used with other themes and plugin configurations.
Try the Configure 8 Suite in a test site. It contains one theme, on admin theme, and 9 or 10 plugins, all developed for a cohesive website. It even has a custom admin dashboard replacement file. Tell me what you think.
