Scroll behavior is wild

When I am in edit mode scroll behavior is extreme in two ways:

The bottom carousel moves way too much, I am finding myself all over the place and cant control the selection. It goes to the back of the folder and the middle, instead of just continuing on to the next one.

In the image edit, when I am scrolling it scrolls way too much, and I have either a huge zoom in or nothing at all.

Thanks for reporting this. I understand the issue: scrolling over the bottom filmstrip can skip across too many images, sometimes wrapping to the end or another position in the folder, instead of moving predictably to the next or previous image. Scrolling over the image itself can also change the zoom in overly large jumps.

I cannot reproduce it with my current mouse setup, but this may be related to touchpad or high-resolution mouse-wheel events. As a possible workaround, please try enabling Trackpad mode in Settings and see whether that improves the behaviour.

Could you also let me know your operating system, whether you use a mouse or touchpad, and whether Trackpad mode makes a difference? A short screen recording would be very helpful as well.

Im on Mac OS on a M3 Macbook Pro. I tried Trackpad mode but it just completely turned off the scrolling through the gallery, and when zooming its just as bad.
