linguo php install/uninstall/list/use/upgrade/init/add/remove/sync/ which/run. Unix toolchains are static-php-cli's static builds (musl- static on Linux, so every distro including Alpine works; the project publishes no checksums, so those installs warn like other unverified sources). Windows uses official windows.php.net NTS zips, verified against releases.json's sha256. Composer ships into every toolchain (phar verified against getcomposer.org's checksum) with a composer wrapper on PATH; projects are composer.json with per-project vendor/, and vendor/bin joins PATH for run/which/the shell hook. Pins fall back to .php-version; php participates in workspaces, auto-install, status, and upgrade sweeps, with Alpine and Windows smoke coverage.
