What it does

Removes Workit's managed external-action executor and obsolete mutation aliases from OpenCode V1 and V2. OpenCode uses native host tools for mutations; Workit retains its strict read-only workit_context, workflow families, decisions, workers, and initialization. Pi and CLI managed effects remain unchanged. Existing task and action history is preserved. See docs/adaptive-workit/reliability-spec.md and docs/adaptive-workit/plan.md.

Quality gates

  • Isolated bun run check: build, lint, format, 1,531 tests, and typecheck passed.
  • Release-candidate package verification and marketplace validation passed.
  • Loaded candidate in installed OpenCode V2.0.19 and official V1.18.30 Docker; both registered ten tools with context present and managed executor absent.
  • Platform-specific OpenCode V1/V2 behavior covered; shared Pi/CLI effects preserved.
  • User-facing changelog entry added.

Checklist

  • Docs updated for the breaking change and migration path.
  • CHANGELOG entry added under Unreleased.

Release note

  • OpenCode no longer exposes workit_external_action; use native host tools for mutations and workit_context for read-only context. Pi and CLI behavior is unchanged.

Remove the managed executor and obsolete mutation aliases on OpenCode V1 and V2. Preserve read-only context, decisions, workers and historical state.

BREAKING CHANGE: OpenCode no longer exposes workit_external_action. Use native host tools for mutations and workit_context for read-only context. Pi and CLI managed effects are unchanged.
